2017 Ugly Bug Contest Winners
We are really proud to have the "Ugly Bug" contest winner from our school! Congratulations to Noah Nelson and his brothers, Elijah and Jonah, who were the finders of this amazingly ugly bug! They were one of eight winners out of over 70 entries. This contest is put on by the Oklahoma Microscopy Society.
2017 Northwest Oklahoma Pioneering Woman of Industry Award
Debi Denney, our 3rd & 4th Grade teacher, was the people's choice winner for the 2017 Northwest Oklahoma Pioneering Woman of Industry Award. She is an incredibly valuable asset to our school!







WCA 2nd Annual Lego Car Winners
For our Lego Car contest this year, the students were asked to build the widest car that would go the farthest down the ramp. The winning group for the K - 2nd grade heat was Jacob, Calin, Aaliyah, and Jayana's group with a car measuring 1 foot & 2.5 inches wide that traveled 11 feet & 5 inches. The winning group for the 3rd - 12th grade heat was Cindy, Samantha, and Frances' group with a car measuring 3 feet & 9 inches wide that traveled 10 feet & 11 inches.
Champions Forever Spin-Tacular Basketball Show!
The Champions Forever brought their Spin-Tacular Basketball Show to WCA! Husband and wife, Bruce and Diane, and their 12 children make up the Champions Forever team. They were featured on the finale of America's Got Talent. Bruce is a four-time Guinness World Record Holder for basketball spinning and has spun 21 basketballs at one time! They travel and perform across the nation as a family while also proclaiming the Gospel to their audiences.








Go West Young Student!
Students from the Middle and Upper Learning Centers got to take a trip West from April 27 - May 3, 2018. They saw sights such as Palo Duro Canyon, The Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum, the largest cross in the western hemisphere, White Sands, Carlsbad Caverns, and Black Mesa in the states of Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
2018 High School and Kindergarten Graduation
This year Raelyn Gabrel completed all her high school requirements and graduated with honors! Graduating alongside her was the WCA Kindergarten class of 2018. Congratulations, graduates! We are so excited to see what you do next!
